Holistic Health Assessment

Dr. Curtis will spend time with you individually to learn about the nature of your problem and its origins. He will explore your goals for improving your health and sense of well-being, and together, you will develop a "mindful" approach to accomplish them. His discussions with you will focus on your health problems, which may include obesity, anxiety, tobacco or drug dependence, among others. Depending on your needs, he will teach you about medical hypnosis and train you to achieve success.

Dr. Curtis has over 30 years of combined experience in internal medicine, cardiovascular treatment and medical hypnosis. He is board certified in Internal medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases, and is certified in Nuclear Cardiology, and Coronary CTA. As a physician, he embraces current advances in diagnosis and treatment; however, the physiology of the Brain/Body connections can also be activated to powerfully assist treatment through medical hypnotherapy. Why leave the brain out of the treatment equation?

Anxiety: Panic Disorders, Phobias, insomnia

The release of Cortisol and adrenaline, " the stress hormones", from these disorders causes a myriad of severe symptoms and is harmful to the immune and cardiovascular systems. Harness the power of the subconscious mind to lower their release. Through intense, focused concentration, gain insight into the causes of these problems and learn to control or correct the triggers.
